THE CA EFFECT

At CA, we don’t just train – we elevate. Training at simulated altitudes of 3500m above sea level, where oxygen is reduced to 14%, brings a host of unique benefits. Whether you’re chasing peak performance, weight loss, or improved fitness, the CA Effect amplifies your results compared to training at sea level.

OUR NAME, OUR MISSION

The Combine, originally a hallmark event in the NFL where athletes showcase their strength, agility, and athleticism, inspired our training philosophy at Combine Air. Just like athletes at the Combine, our members—our All-Stars—step into the arena to push their limits and unlock their full potential. Every session is a chance to level up your strength, endurance, and skill, all while training at altitude.

Combine Air uses the world’s most elite training technology with training programs of purpose, creating fitness benefits that have been preserved for the elite for over 50 years.

The Arena

AND THE FIELD OF GREEN

The arena is where the magic happens. We simulate the effects of training at 3,500m, creating a low-oxygen environment that forces your body to adapt and perform at its best.

The Field of Green – the turf we train on – is where our All-Stars sweat, sprint, and power through workouts, maximising every session with purpose and energy.

Each 50-minute squad-based training session is designed to empower ALL-STARS to live their best life on and off the field, developing a passion for the game whilst instilling teamwork, drive and individual sportsmanship – just like the pros. Add the electric coaches, beats and a squad that supports you through and through… you’re in for one hell of a session.

Training at CA you will burn more calories in every session, experience an extended afterburn of fat stores, build greater lean muscle mass, and enhance athletic performance, speed and power.

THE SWEET SPOT

We recommend working at an intensity of 80-85%, known as ‘The Sweet Spot,’ during each session.

This intensity level creates optimal adaptations in your body, improving results by up to 25%—far more effective than training at sea level—giving you a natural competitive edge. During recovery breaks, simply place your finger on the ‘Sweet Spot’ reader to monitor your SPO2* levels. This will help you decide whether to push harder, maintain your pace, or ease up slightly, ensuring you stay in the ideal zone and maximise your results.

SPO2 stands for “peripheral capillary oxygen saturation.” It is a measurement of the oxygen level in your blood, expressed as a percentage. Specifically, it indicates the percentage of hemoglobin (the protein in red blood cells) that is saturated with oxygen. Monitoring SPO2 levels can help assess how efficiently your body is utilising oxygen, especially during exercise or altitude training.

The Chamber

At the heart of Combine Air is The Chamber, responsible for making our unique altitude experience come to life.

Nitrogen is pumped into the arena, reducing oxygen levels and replicating the high-altitude environment. This decrease in oxygen triggers physiological adaptations, such as increased red blood cell production and enhanced cardiovascular efficiency, making every session more effective than training at sea level.
